Why review movie previews?
Because movie previews contain the secrets of the movies they advertise. Crack the code of the preview and you can know what the movie will be.
Can you really expect to know what a 2 hr movie is going to be about from a 2 minute preview?
Yes. Previews for the most part tell you who the character is, what their problem is and what their going to have to try and battle for during the course of the movie.
These important pieces when put together and analyzed reveal the overall structure of the movie.
It’s like spoonful of soup. From just that taste, you know if you want to eat a whole bowl of it.
Why ask all those questions?
Because those questions are the same ones we, all audiences, ask themselves as soon as they see a preview for a movie. Because questions lead to probable answers instead of just writing a pure review of opinion and personal bias.

What qualifies TMPC to reveiw previews?
TMPC was once like the average movie goer - trusting, passionate and a bit niave. TMPC went to the movies every Friday and Saturday, watched DVDs during the week.
But then, TMPC started to notice something. That movies were losing their originality. That the same kinds of movies were being made. Copies of copies with different packaging.
Even worse, that movies were being made just for money. Just for the opening Money Shot Weekend Box Office.
TMPC also noticed that the previews were pretty much showing all the important parts of the movies they advertised.
So, TMPC began to study, watch, rewind, pause, frame by frame decode the secrets of the preview. Like DNA, all the parts that made up the whole film were evident in the preview.
And that’s when TMPC made the commitment. Made the choice to fight for the audience and to fight for great movies while revealing the bad ones.
TMPC has a passion for the movies, for good stories, for fresh, new and inventive explorations of the human condition through the power of cinema.
And that what TMPC fights for everyday. Aren’t those all the qualifications anyone needs?
Are you making fun of movies?
TMPC uses humor to keep things fun and light but that funny tone is a yin to the yang of “seriousness” that TMPC has for movies.
TMPC loves the movies and like anyone who loves anyone they only want what’s best. TMPC wants movies to be the best they can be. So when a movie is great we champion it, we’ll want the audience to see it. If it’s bad we’ll call it out and warn everyone who’ll listen not to see it.
If we can laugh during this process, then why not?
What’s with the rating system?
TMPC is trying to keep it real. No Bullsh#t. These are the thoughts we all have when we go to a movie. These are the real reasons we’re going to see a movie. Let’s be honest.

Why are all the swear words censored?
Because we want you to be able to read this at work and we know your bosses have filters on your internet access. You can fill in the blanks.
